Highly expressed in pancreas, in both endocrine (alpha, beta, gamma, delta, and epsilon) and exocrine (acinar and ductal) cells. Expressed in pacreatic beta-cells (at protein level). Expressed in pacreatic delta-cells (at protein level). Not detectable in the other tissues tested.
