功能描述

Pelota-HBS1L复合体的GTPase组分,该复合体识别停滞的核糖体并触发No-Go Decay (NGD)通路 (PubMed:21448132, PubMed:23667253, PubMed:27863242)。Pelota-HBS1L复合体识别停滞在mRNA 3'末端的核糖体,并通过破坏mRNA通道中mRNA的稳定性来结合停滞的核糖体 (PubMed:27863242)。在SKI复合体从停滞的核糖体中提取mRNA之后,Pelota-HBS1L复合体促进ABCE1的募集,ABCE1驱动停滞核糖体的解体,随后作为NGD通路的一部分降解受损的mRNA (PubMed:21448132, PubMed:32006463)。 {ECO:0000269|PubMed:21448132, ECO:0000269|PubMed:23667253, ECO:0000269|PubMed:27863242, ECO:0000269|PubMed:32006463}。
