功能描述

转录激活因子,结合含有共有序列5'-WGGA-3'的DNA序列。反式激活造血生长因子基因CSF2、IL3、IL8以及牛溶菌酶基因的启动子。与RUNX1协同作用反式激活IL3启动子(By similarity)。在自然杀伤(NK)细胞和CD8+ T细胞中反式激活PRF1启动子(PubMed:34326534)。在NK细胞和NK T细胞的发育和功能以及先天免疫中发挥作用。通过Kruppel样因子KLF4和KLF2控制CD8+ T细胞的增殖和归巢(By similarity)。以p53依赖性方式控制细胞衰老。还可通过抑制p16通路促进细胞转化。是炎症的转录调节因子,控制T辅助细胞17(Th17)细胞和巨噬细胞炎症反应。是持续转录抗炎基因(包括IL1RN)所必需的(PubMed:34326534, PubMed:35266071)。是促炎细胞因子表达的负调节因子,包括IL17A、IL1B、IL6、TNFA和CXCL1(PubMed:34326534, PubMed:35266071)。下调TREM1的表达,TREM1是参与放大炎症反应的细胞表面受体(By similarity)(PubMed:34326534, PubMed:35266071)。 {ECO:0000250, ECO:0000269|PubMed:10207087, ECO:0000269|PubMed:14625302, ECO:0000269|PubMed:14976184, ECO:0000269|PubMed:19380490, ECO:0000269|PubMed:34326534, ECO:0000269|PubMed:35266071, ECO:0000269|PubMed:8895518, ECO:0000269|PubMed:9524226}。

组织特异性

Abundantly expressed in the placenta and in a variety of myeloid leukemia cell lines. Moderate levels of expression in heart, lung, spleen, thymus, peripheral blood lymphocytes, ovary and colon. Lower levels of expression in Jurkat T-cells and other T-cell lines and no expression in brain.
