功能描述

促炎细胞因子,参与多种过程,如外周免疫细胞的趋化、分化和激活,细胞生长调节、细胞凋亡以及血管抑制效应的调节 (PubMed:11157474, PubMed:22652417, PubMed:7540647)。通过刺激免疫细胞活化和迁移至感染部位,从而在病毒感染期间发挥重要作用 (By similarity)。机制上,CXCL10与CXCR3受体结合激活G蛋白介导的信号传导,导致磷脂酶C依赖性通路的下游激活、细胞内钙产生增加和肌动蛋白重组 (PubMed:12750173, PubMed:19151743)。进而,活化的Th1淋巴细胞被募集到炎症部位 (PubMed:12663757, PubMed:12750173)。CXCL10/CXCR3轴的激活在神经元响应脑损伤中也发挥重要作用,用于激活小胶质细胞(中枢神经系统的驻留巨噬细胞群)并引导它们到达损伤部位。这种募集是神经元重组的关键要素 (By similarity)。 {ECO:0000250|UniProtKB:P17515, ECO:0000269|PubMed:11157474, ECO:0000269|PubMed:12663757, ECO:0000269|PubMed:12750173, ECO:0000269|PubMed:19151743, ECO:0000269|PubMed:22652417, ECO:0000269|PubMed:7540647}。

组织特异性

Mainly secreted by monocytes, endothelial cells as well as fibroblasts. Expressed by epithelial cells in thymus (PubMed:11157474). Microglial cells produce CXCL10 in response to viral stimulation (PubMed:12663757).
