功能描述

对人单核细胞具有弱活性,并通过识别MIP-1 alpha的受体发挥作用。在100-1,000 nM浓度下,它诱导细胞内Ca(2+)变化和enzyme释放,但不引起趋化作用,对T-lymphocytes、neutrophils和eosinophil leukocytes无活性。增强CD34髓系祖细胞的增殖。加工形式HCC-1(9-74)是一种趋化因子,可吸引单核细胞、嗜酸性粒细胞和T细胞,是CCR1、CCR3和CCR5的配体。 {ECO:0000269|PubMed:11085751}。

组织特异性

Expressed constitutively in several normal tissues: spleen, liver, skeletal and heart muscle, gut, and bone marrow, present at high concentrations (1-80 nM) in plasma.
