功能描述

先天性免疫接头蛋白，介导内体溶酶体Toll样受体TLR7、TLR8和TLR9下游IRF5的招募和激活 (PubMed:32433612)。在TLR7、TLR8和TLR9下游被SLC15A4招募至内体溶酶体后，通过其pLxIS基序特异性招募IRF5转录因子，导致IRF5激活及随后的I型干扰素表达 (PubMed:32433612)。在B细胞、树突状细胞和单核细胞等免疫细胞中参与内体溶酶体pH的调节 (PubMed:31001245)。 {ECO:0000269|PubMed:31001245, ECO:0000269|PubMed:32433612}。

组织特异性

Highly expressed in immune cell types such as B-cells, neutrophils, dendritic cells and monocytes, the expression levels are two-three-fold higher in female cells compared to male cells (at protein level) (PubMed:31001245, PubMed:31092820). Expressed at low levels in T-cells and NK cells (PubMed:31001245).
