功能描述

参与不对称细胞分裂和细胞极化过程的衔接蛋白。可能参与上皮紧密连接的形成。与PARD3结合可能阻止PARD3与F11R/JAM1的相互作用，从而阻止紧密连接的组装。PARD6-PARD3复合物将GTP结合的Rho小GTP酶与非典型蛋白激酶C蛋白连接起来。

组织特异性

Expressed in pancreas and in both adult and fetal kidney. Weakly expressed in placenta and lung. Not expressed in other tissues.
