功能描述

一种细胞色素P450单加氧酶，参与内源性多不饱和脂肪酸（PUFAs）及其氧化衍生物（oxylipins）的代谢。在机制上，利用分子氧将一个氧原子插入底物，并将第二个氧原子还原为水分子，所需的两个电子由NADPH通过细胞色素P450还原酶（CPR; NADPH-铁血红素蛋白还原酶）提供。催化碳氢键的羟基化，优先作用于omega-1和omega-2位点（PubMed:10791960, PubMed:15789615, PubMed:16112640）。主要在(5Z,8Z,11Z,14Z)-二十碳四烯酸（花生四烯酸）的omega-2位点进行羟基化，形成(18R)-羟基二十碳四烯酸（18R-HETE）（PubMed:10791960）。对前列腺素（PG）H1、PGH2和PGI2表现出omega-1羟基化酶活性（PubMed:10791960, PubMed:15789615）。催化PUFAs双键的环氧化反应，包括二十二碳六烯酸和二十二碳五烯酸（PubMed:16112640）。对PGD2、PGE1、PGE2、PGF2alpha和白三烯B4几乎无活性。 {ECO:0000269|PubMed:10791960, ECO:0000269|PubMed:15789615, ECO:0000269|PubMed:16112640}。

组织特异性

In the epidermis, expressed from the basal cell to the granular cell layers. In the corneal epithelium, expressed in all cell layers. Also detected in prostate. Up-regulated in the epidermis of psoriatic lesions.
